The Opportunity
Join a dynamic, mission-driven startup and gain real-world experience building the next generation of recovery technology. This isn't a traditional internship—it's an opportunity to directly impact our MVP by:
Developing frontend features such as check-ins, journaling, and progress tracking
Integrating backend systems to power AI-driven risk scoring and personalized interventions
Building LLM and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines for tailored content delivery
Exploring DevOps, infrastructure, and scaling workflows (optional based on your interests)
Contributing to innovative wearable integrations and digital phenotyping solutions
You’ll collaborate closely with our passionate team on product design, ethical considerations, and potentially groundbreaking research leading towards FDA clearance as a digital therapeutic.
About You
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (undergrad or graduate) in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, HCI, or related fields
Self-motivated and comfortable with independent, asynchronous work
Experience in Python, JavaScript (React/Node), cloud technologies (AWS/GCP), or NLP is beneficial but not required
Passionate about leveraging technology for social good, particularly in healthtech and recovery.
Compensation
$35/hour base rate, with potential increases to $40–$45/hour for contributions to advanced AI or core frontend modules.
